What VenmoPad collects, why, where it goes, and what you can do about it. This describes the software as actually built.
Effective 2026-10-09. Operated by VenmoPad · contact us.
Positions marked “best-guess position” are the operator’s working interpretation and have not been confirmed by counsel.
What we collect
- Venmo usernames you type. When you search or launch, the username is normalized and stored as a recipient record. Usernames entered in the search box are sent to our server to check our own records; we do not query Venmo, and we do not confirm that the username belongs to any particular person.
- Launcher wallet address. If you connect a Solana wallet and launch a coin, your public wallet address is stored with that coin. We never receive your private keys. Signing happens in your wallet software.
- Coin details. Name, ticker, description and the image you upload are stored in our database. On launch they are uploaded to pump.fun’s IPFS metadata service and become permanently public on-chain.
- Public blockchain data. Transaction signatures, mint addresses and fee events are recorded. Blockchain data is public and cannot be deleted by us.
- Recipient verification data. If a recipient verifies with us, we store the verification method, timestamp and a payout destination (a Venmo-generated crypto deposit address or an internal reference for manual settlement). Payout references recorded by operators are stored for reconciliation.
- Server logs. Our hosting may record IP addresses and request metadata in standard server logs.
What we do not do
- No analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or first-party cookies are used on this site.
- We do not access your Venmo account, balance or contacts. Every transfer in or out of Venmo is performed by you or a recipient inside Venmo.
- We do not sell personal information.
Local storage
The wallet-connection library stores the name of your last-used wallet in your browser’s localStorage so it can reconnect. Clearing site data removes it. No consent banner is shown because no cookies or trackers are set.
Third parties that receive data
- Solana RPC provider (public mainnet endpoint by default, or the one configured by the operator): receives wallet addresses and transactions to read balances and broadcast launches.
- PumpPortal and pump.fun: receive coin metadata, the image, and the fee-vault wallet address to build and publish the token.
- Google Fonts: the wallet-connection UI stylesheet requests a font file from Google, which exposes your IP address to Google. Site fonts are self-hosted.
- Solscan and pump.fun links open third-party sites governed by their own policies.
- Venmo / PayPal: only involved when an operator manually sends a payout or a recipient uses their own Venmo crypto features. We have no data-sharing relationship with Venmo.
Retention
Ledger, payout and audit records are kept indefinitely because they document the movement of funds. Draft coins that never launch may be removed by the operator. On-chain data is permanent.
Your choices and rights
You may contact the operator about data associated with your wallet address or Venmo username. Requests are handled at the operator’s discretion and only to the extent applicable law requires. Ledger, payout and audit entries are never removed.
Best-guess position · pending counsel
Which laws apply. The service is US-oriented. We take the position that CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, UK GDPR and similar regimes do not apply to the operator, and we make no voluntary commitment to the rights they create. If a law is later determined to apply, we will comply only to the extent it actually requires.
Lawful basis for storing Venmo usernames entered by launchers. Usernames are public handles supplied by launchers. The operator stores them as a necessary part of operating the service and is under no obligation to remove, flag or alter a record at a named person’s request unless required by law.
Request handling. There is no committed response time or verification procedure. The operator may require whatever proof of identity it considers appropriate and may decline requests it considers unfounded, excessive or not legally required.
Children
This service is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
The operator may change this policy at any time without notice. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
